Hi everybody, and welcome to my home here at Zaadz. 

I should start by telling you a little something about me. I am a student at Rice University and am majoring in Religious Studies and Cognitive Science. I used to be a Physics and Math major, but changed majors after taking a class on the history of Esalen.

I started my personal journey back in middle school when I left the church that I was raised in. The journey led me through many books and many experiences and now here I am joining this great community determined to make the world a better place.

In high school, I started going back to church and began to faid away from the joy that I had found in life through my spiritual search.

In college, I was lucky enough to discover swing dancing and started taking lessons from one of the best beginner swing teachers in houston. His style of teaching was unlike most of the others around, who focus on choreography. I learned the dance based on frame, connection, and energy. Once I was able to learn those basics, the dance is about not thinking at all, but just going with the energy.

The next year, I was asked to be the co-teacher of the same person that I had learned from and have been absorbing his teaching philosophy ever since.

The experience of learning and teaching swing has re-connected me with my journey that I started back in middle school. I once again believe in the magic of life. I will tell more details about my life and my belief in life's magic in my blog as my life progresses.
